Cape Streams

If freshwater fishing is your game, then join us for our magical Cape Streams guided fly fishing experience in the rocky river waters of the Limietberg Nature Reserve in the Western Cape.

Situated approximately an hour drive from Cape Town, the freestone rivers found in this nature reserve offer the perfect fishing spots to target wild rainbow and brown trout.

This reserve is run by Cape Nature Reserve and all fly fishing on the rivers are managed by the Cape Piscatorial Society. The clear streams allow for trout sight fishing while wet wading gives way to fishing with dries and nymphs.

We keep this day excursion intimate with a maximum of two fly fishing guests per guide and provide all transport collection and drop off. All you need to do is arrive on the day – we will sort out all necessary permits and rental equipment if required.

From beginner’s to experienced fly fishermen anyone is welcome to join us. We look forward to spending the day on the rivers with you any time from the 1st of September to the 31st of May during our Stream season. We’re closed in this location from June to August, but that doesn’t mean we can’t you’re your local trip of a lifetime. Contact us now to make a booking.
