Immerse yourself in the unexplored coastline of the Nubian Flats of Sudan. This untouched, saltwater playground is perfect for the angler seeking peaceful settings.
Nubian Flats is the perfect spot to fish both from the productive flats of the mainland as well as the open blue waters surrounding the small, remote islands off the coast.
The Nubian Flats is home to vast numbers of bluefin, triggerfish, and the less common but exciting finds of big giant trevally, bohar, mangrove snapper, barracuda, and milkfish. If luck is on your side, you may face a bonefish or permit. Further off the coastline you could encounter giant trevally, dogtooth tuna, barracuda, bluefin, bohar and grouper.

Removed from the South Sudan areas and security risks, Nubian Flats offers flyfishing guests a relaxed setting to enjoy the flats of Sudan. Guests will access these fly-fishing waters via Port Sudan, an isolated town located in the sparsely populated Nubian Desert.
For the duration of the trip guests will fish and live on the 60ft motor catamaran fitted with simple cabins, a separate bathroom, and a communal dining area to enjoy meals and refreshments.
